Ring of Turquoise and Sterling Silver Native American Style Ring Marked MP Gorgeous Gift Wrapped

Absolutely gorgeous turquoise set in a Native American style setting. Rich turquoise hue with warm brown matrix. Beautiful scalloped bezel set within a rope detail and simply detailed frame. Very nice quality to the ring. Appears to be handcrafted. Could perhaps be attributed to either Marie Pino or the Navajo artist Maria Platero. Or, as has been suggested by a fellow Etsy seller, Michel Perry.

The ring is marked with the initials MP and STERLING. Metals are not tested in my possession, descriptions are based on the markings.

This is approx. a size 7 1/2. The face of the ring measures approx. 11/16" at the widest point by approx. 1" at the tallest.

Good vintage condition. Stone is smoothly polished, with one very slight more matte spot (seen at certain angles). There is also a tiny centralized hole, perhaps inherent to the stone...please look closely at the photos. Light patina to the metal. Natural stone shows warm brown matrix and slight color variations. Surface wear commensurate with age. This has NOT been polished in my possession.

This is older and has been worn, please expect surface scratches and surface wear. Please look closely at the photos...many of which are magnified, as they are close-up shots. Color does vary with different screens. Patinas do darken in storage. I am always happy to answer questions.

Vintage. Do NOT use liquid silver polish or harsh chemicals on pieces with stones (especially turquoise) as those substances will cause damage. A simple silver cloth will do, taking care to avoid the stones as much as possible.
