Beautiful sterling and marcasite brooch. Intricate design. All the tiny marcasites appear to be present. Pin mechanism works well.

Marked STERLING on the back. Descriptions are based on the markings, items are not tested for metal purity.

The brooch is square and measures approx. 1 1/2" across by approx. 1 1/2" tall.

Vintage condition. Expect wear and patina. Please view photos above! This has NOT been polished in my possession. Pin is in working order, but tight.

This is older and has been worn, please expect surface scratches and surface wear. Please look closely at the photos...many of which are magnified, as they are close-up shots. Color does vary with different screens. Patinas do darken in storage. I am always happy to answer questions.

Vintage. Do NOT use liquid silver polish or harsh chemicals on pieces with stones (especially turquoise) as those substances will cause damage. A simple silver cloth will do, taking care to avoid the stones as much as possible.
