Beautiful Painted Porcelain 950 Sterling Silver Brooch Pin Pendant Japan Vintage Flowers Floral

Sweet vintage painted porcelain brooch. Can also be worn as a pendant! Japan. Marked silver and 950 (a greater percentage of silver than 925). Lovely size for a coat!

The mounting of the pin is marked SILVER and 950. The porcelain is marked JAPAN and 14.. Descriptions are based on the markings, as items are not tested in my possession.

The pin measures approx. 2 1/4" at the longest point by approx. 1 3/4" at the tallest point.

Vintage condition. Medium to dark patina. Simple pin mechanism is tight in working order. Please expect some surface wear and scratches. This has NOT been polished in my possession.

This is older and has been worn, please expect surface scratches and surface wear. Please look closely at the photos...many of which are magnified, as they are close-up shots. Color does vary with different screens. Patinas do darken in storage. I am always happy to answer questions.

Vintage. Do NOT use liquid silver polish or harsh chemicals on pieces with stones (especially turquoise) as those substances will cause damage. A simple silver cloth will do, taking care to avoid the stones as much as possible.
