Wonderful old Mexican silver brooch. Two lovely flowers. Makes a great gift!
The pin is marked MEXICO SILVER. Silver percentage unknown. Descriptions are based on the markings, as items are not tested in my possession.
The pin measures approx. 2 1/4" at the longest point by approx. 1 1/8" at the tallest point.
Vintage condition. DARK patina. Simple pin mechanism is tight in working order. Please expect some surface wear and scratches. This has NOT been polished in my possession.
This is older and has been worn, please expect surface scratches and surface wear. Please look closely at the photos...many of which are magnified, as they are close-up shots. Color does vary with different screens. Patinas do darken in storage. I am always happy to answer questions.
Vintage. Do NOT use liquid silver polish or harsh chemicals on pieces with stones (especially turquoise) as those substances will cause damage. A simple silver cloth will do, taking care to avoid the stones as much as possible.
